1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AudioVerse. By using our Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and comply with all applicable laws.

2. Your Account

To access certain features, you may create an AudioVerse account using:

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account with others.

3. Using AudioVerse

AudioVerse allows you to discover and enjoy:

  • Audiobooks
  • Podcasts
  • Licensed content
  • Publicly available content from trusted providers
  • Original AudioVerse content
  • User-generated content (when available)

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Services for personal and non-commercial purposes.

4. Content Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, all application designs, logos, branding, software, and original AudioVerse content belong to AudioVerse or its licensors. Some audiobooks and podcasts are provided under license from publishers or content providers. Some content may be obtained through publicly available APIs. Each content provider retains ownership of its respective intellectual property. Using AudioVerse does not transfer ownership of any content to you.

5. Future User Content

AudioVerse may allow users to upload or publish content in future versions of the platform. If you upload content, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to the content, or
  • You have permission to publish it.

You remain responsible for everything you upload. By uploading content, you grant AudioVerse a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use AudioVerse for illegal purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Reverse engineer or modify the application.
  • Circumvent security measures.
  • Distribute malware or malicious code.
  • Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Services.
  • Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit licensed content without permission.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Use automated systems to scrape or download large amounts of content without authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, branding, software, user interface designs, and original materials belonging to AudioVerse remain our exclusive property. Nothing in these Terms grants you permission to copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce our intellectual property except as expressly permitted by law.

8. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that content available through AudioVerse infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

  • Your contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • The location of the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

We will investigate and take appropriate action where necessary.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may:

  • Modify features.
  • Update the application.
  • Perform maintenance.
  • Suspend or discontinue parts of the Services.

Whenever possible, we will minimize disruptions.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms.
  • Engage in fraudulent activity.
  • Abuse the Services.
  • Infringe the rights of others.

You may stop using AudioVerse at any time. You may also delete your account using the in-app account deletion feature.

11. Account Deletion

AudioVerse allows users to delete their accounts directly within the application. To delete your account: Profile → Settings → Delete Your Account. When you request deletion:

  • Your account becomes inactive immediately.
  • Your account enters a 30-day recovery period.
  • During this period, you may restore your account by signing in again.
  • After 30 days, your account and associated personal information are permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

AudioVerse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Continuous availability

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AudioVerse and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, if any.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date and may notify users through the application or website. Continued use of AudioVerse after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which AudioVerse operates, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
