How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion at any time by following these steps:

  1. 1Open AudioVerse.
  2. 2Go to Profile.
  3. 3Tap Settings (top-right corner).
  4. 4Select Delete Your Account.
  5. 5Follow the on-screen confirmation steps.

Once confirmed, your account will immediately enter the deletion process.

What Happens After You Request Deletion

When you request account deletion:

  • Your account is immediately deactivated.
  • You will no longer be able to use your account normally.
  • Your account enters a 30-day recovery period.
  • During these 30 days, your account and data remain securely stored but inaccessible to others.

This recovery period allows you to change your mind if the deletion request was made accidentally.

Recovering Your Account

If you decide to keep your account, simply sign in again within 30 days using your original login method. Restoring your account during this period will:

  • Cancel the deletion request.
  • Restore your profile.
  • Restore your favorites.
  • Restore your listening history.
  • Restore your saved preferences.

No data will be lost if your account is restored before the recovery period ends.

Permanent Deletion

If your account is not restored within 30 days, it will be permanently deleted. This process cannot be reversed. After permanent deletion, your personal information, profile, favorites, listening history, and associated account data will be removed from our systems, except where retention is required by applicable law.

What Data Is Deleted

When permanent deletion is completed, the following information is removed:

  • Account information
  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile picture
  • Bio
  • Favorites
  • Listening history
  • Playback progress
  • Saved preferences

Data That May Be Retained

Certain limited information may be retained when required to:

  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Resolve disputes.
  • Prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service.

Any retained information will be stored only for as long as required by applicable law.
